Helmsley leaves $12 million for her dog

 Hemsley left her dog $12 million bucks but cut out two of her grandchildren entirely, she passed away August 20th at age 87. Two other grandchildren were left $5 million apiece so long as they visit their fathers grave at least once a year and her chauffeur collects $100,000. We remember her most of being convicted in 1989 for tax evasion, I guess the one grandchildren are feeling low as a dogs belly right now, this one definitely belongs in the odd column.

Vision 20/20 puts sex offenders on the map

Here is some good news you can use, this website called vision 20/20 will allow you to look up offenders in your area and see just where they live in relation to your house or neighborhood. This information will be very useful to you who have children and are concerned about how close one of these may be to your house, I tried it out and found about 12 within a 20 mile radius of my house but you who are in more densely populated area could find a whole lot more. What makes this site neat is it shows just where they are at on a detailed map of your area. It shows the offender as an icon and when you scroll over it then it will show you the exact address,,go ahead try it out, you just may be surprised at how many are around you.

Out-of-body experiences in a lab

 Scientists now claim they can duplicate the out of body experience in a lab, according to the article this could help those with epilepsy and migraines which to have been known to report such occurrences.  This sounds kind of spooky to me, Ghost Village had an article and link to the news story and I thought I would blog it here, me being a somewhat enthusiast of this kind of the paranormal.

The New Bloglines

Bloglines has evolved and has a neat new interface with the drag and drop method, if you have a bloglines subscription you can check out the beta version at; beta.bloglines.com

It looks pretty good really and I liked it better than the old bloglines set-up, I subscribe to quite a bit of feeds using bloglines so when I saw the news over at bloggers blog I checked it out, when it asks for user name and password just give it your normal log-in information and you should be set to go.

‘Halloween’ Actress Was Teen Runaway

 The actress who is to play the role in Halloween was a runaway, she has revealed. The movie is to open on August 31st. The actress admits it was a mistake and adds she was a normal teenager going through teenager stuff. I kind of liked those scary Halloween movies so I am wondering if this one adds up to my expectations?
