Do you hear what I hear?

Found some good odd news on ear stapling and it is happening in London, Ky. Apparently people as far away as Ohio are coming to get the procedure done, unbelievable? Believe it;

“Someone came into our office and gave us a card about it,” she said of the stapling.

“I went home, did some research on the Internet and decided to try it.”

Soon, Rudder, a nurse, had passed a one-day course and was stapling ears herself.

Rudder said ear stapling purports to alleviate problems sleeping, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux and constipation. It is also said to lessen stress, help with smoking addiction, and promote weight loss.

Losing a few pounds was Rudder’s motivation.

“I had tried everything else so I thought, ‘Why not?’” she said. “I lost 6.5 pounds the first week.”

After seven weeks, she’s lost 27 pounds.

How does it work?

“It’s based on pressure points,” Rudder said. “Basically, they say it’s a form of acupuncture.”

Depending on the complaint, the stainless steel surgical staples are inserted into a specific part of a person’s pinna, the exterior part of the ear.
