coping a break, woman who microwaved baby, gets 25 to life

DAYTON, Ohio – An Ohio jury has spared the life of a woman who killed her infant daughter by microwaving her.

The jury told the judge Wednesday that it couldn’t agree on whether to recommend the death penalty or life in prison for 28-year-old China Arnold. source; MSNBC News

Arnold now could spend between 25 years and the rest of her life in prison, depending on what Montgomery County Judge Mary Wiseman decides.

And we wonder why these kinds of acts are going on in America,  here is another one;

A 19-year-old was arrested and charged after police said his 2-month-old daughter was burned when he placed her in a microwave, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Joshua Mauldin, of Arkansas, has been charged with injury to a child causing serious harm. He is in the Galveston County jail with bond set at $250,000. source; click 2 Houston dot com

Joshua got 25 years for sticking a baby in the microwave, the baby got severe burns and he got a free ticket to ride on the taxpayers. Source; CNN News

China got a retrial and capital punishment was taken off the table, apparently she was drunk or that is waht she claims, the jurors should hang their heads in shame, here is her own words when questioned about the incident;

“She said she put the baby into the microwave and started it and left the house,” Williams testified. Williams said she asked Arnold how she got the child into the oven.

“She said she fit right in,” Williams said. Source; NZ Hearld

Now it’s China’s turn for a free ride off the government, this rubs me the wrong way so much I can hardly type it myself, bring back the old west days and get some justice for these cockroaches of society, sometimes the court system makes me want to puke.

    The sentence for such a heinous crime lays naked the state of a Nation. America is in a state of moral decline and full of “deadmans bones”. Immediate execution for such a crime is the only way to rid society of this evil.

    I will say it again, you should have to pass a test before being allowed to reproduce. There are not enough supports, private or public, to advocate for children stuck with abusive parents/caregivers. Parts of our society speak up for the unborn, and cry about the evils of abortion. But I hear few people speaking out about the evil some children must endure after they are born.

    I’m not on an anti-abortion kick here, Floyd, just hoping some of the folks against abortion will take on the cause of the living children who are crying out in pain.

    I will get off my soapbox for now.

    This judicial system is totally screwed up. what nobody gets the death penalty anymore. how can you spare the life of a person,who takes the life away from a newborn baby.
    this has to be the worst crime of all. the suffering that baby went through. And you cant give the death penalty.
    It makes me sick that she will get to live. when that baby didnt get a chance to live.That just shows what our taxs dollars are being used for.

    Thanks all so far for stating your opinions on what should probably be entitled justice system a broken venue taking on the blight of moral decay.

    This is where I agree with capital punishment, but even the states that allow it, the system remains soddenly broken. The case of the Ohio woman who actually killed the infant is a sad and despicable act burdened on the conciseness of our society.

    Maybe someday the infants will be avenged whenever the light of life is finally extinguished in these individuals with no morals and sickened souls, stand before a judge whose judgment is just, their hands dripping of innocent blood.

    And even more so, our society or parts of our society sat on a jury, where they mothers? Where they fathers? Where is the sense of justice in them? And by what answer will they give the almighty, and the most just of eternity? How will they answer the charge? Because when you look at it they also have the blood of innocents on their hands.
